  • I’ll give it a look. I’ve been using Joplin since Evernote enshittified, and I didn’t know it had drawing support. I very rarely use Markdown, though. You can hide that with two interface tweaks, which I did years ago on my machines. (I have to look it up again every time I add a new machine, so it’s not perfect.)

Is Notesnook FOSS? I expect any closed-source software to enshittify over time. 🙁

  • Introverts: These are usually people of high intelligence who prefer their own thoughts to listening to a bunch of babbling idiots. They tend to develop close relationships with other bright people, and often decline social invitations from oafs.

Extroverts: These are usually people of average or below average intelligence who have difficulty learning new things because they seldom shut their pie holes long enough to hear what others are saying. They tend to share their ignorant opinions with everyone they meet.

And very few medications will show a shelf life longer than 2 years because they simply aren’t tested for that length of time. Many medications that come in dried form (i.e., pills) are likely good for a decade or more, but safety and efficacy certainly are not guaranteed beyond what the manufacturer says.

  • Things that I have found useful:

    • MENDS as a routine, as often as I can remember (meditation, exercise, nature, diet, sleep)
    • Mind mapping to take notes and reorganize / review it often (I use XMind)
    • Keeping searchable notes (I use Joplin, but OneNote and Evernote work too)
    • Using the above as part of an organization system (look up GTD and “building a second brain”)
    • Microdosing psilocybin
    • Get your hormone levels checked - if they’re outside the normal range, it can exacerbate ADHD

Good luck! It has been a multi-year journey for me, but a successful one.
