I haven’t had luck with it when it comes to finding places in Finland. And all of the open source options seem to have issues with residential areas, not just Comaps. That’s not counting the technical issues.
HereWeGo, while closed source and a private company unfortunately, is at least European and even has public transportation data. At least it’s not Google too.
I still use Every Door when possible to contribute, but the lack of residencies and glacial update cycles still leaves it so that I can’t really recommend these apps to even my wife, let alone others.
