What the hell are exit polls are how are they conducted? The name implies they’re conducting with folks leaving the polls, but if they’re voting at home then how are they polled? This could also just simply boil down to why do we trust polls so much anyways

I gotta say, I fucking hate doing dishes. I’m not sure what it is about it, but I just have this almost irrational dislike for washing dishes (especially pots+ pans). Sure, I’ll do it when it needs to be done, but my God do I dread it. Is there something wrong with me? Oh absolutely, but there’s plenty else to fix before the dishes issue lol

I believe that he does, and he knows shit will cost more, but he ALSO knows that his followers have no clue whatsoever. So prices will increase, and he’ll blame it on one of their many “others”. Keeping them scared and mad is the key to their control over them

I bet the wording on the ballot was different. Similar election results sites for my local ballot measures hasve greatly simplified the language the ballot had (which honestly is probably how ballot measures should be written)

Solid state batteries are more energy dense, meaning that if all you want is 300 miles of range on a charge (perfectly fine with it’s faster charging), then you can have less battery for the same range. Now how much lighter I’m not sure, but it’s in the right direction!

Oh God, Y2K. My dad was in the Air Force and his unit was responsible for a big base’s networking. My dad had to go into work that night as they expected the entire base’s network to just erupt. We were all so worried about it and then … Nothing happened at all, he was home by 2am.

I think this is honestly it. I was in 5th grade and remember all of it (and the world response to it) very vividly. I really miss being able to greet people at the gate when they came to visit :(

I know a couple current and former USSS agents, they’re hardcore trump supporters. That’s not to say they all are as I don’t know them all, but they are law enforcement after all.
