So I look in the modlog from time to time. There’s been some actions I’ve seen that I don’t agree with, but there is no way to see the context, so I’ve never spoke up. But today I saw something that concerned me. I’m just going to copy/paste the modlog so you see what I see.

I don’t know who this guy is, or who the mod is, but essentially this guy is getting banned for being liberal.
Or am I misreading the situation???
So what do we do to fix this?
You’re wanting to fix someone’s personal instance? They’ve stated their reasoning within this post.
Block the community or instance and forget about it, only patronize instances with moderation you agree with and leave the bad ones to wither
Centralization. Or NOSTR. Think about it, federation is just millions of tyrant admins and mods and reddit is just one.
You can join our Instance we’re pretty chill. You can look at our modlog too. We rarely ban and remove stuff. I understand you might not be interested and that’s ok.
