He was just a loser who did it to get famous, so not a hero in any sense. I fully admit that Trump dying would be amazing, especially if the GOP fumbled as a result, but I don’t think an assassination would be best in hindsight. It would be great if he died of natural causes and couldn’t be martyred, as he is a serious threat who should be banished from society.
