In the biggest game of his career, Sam Darnold delivered his finest performance.
Darnold threw for 346 yards and three touchdown passes and played turnover-free ball in Seattle’s 31-27 win over the Rams, vaulting the Seahawks into Super Bowl LX on Feb. 9 against the New England Patriots.
“You can’t talk about the game without talking about our quarterback,” Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said. “I mean he just shut a lot of people up tonight, so I’m really happy for him.”

I don’t think I agree with the Mahomes take.
If you look at the drop-off without Mahomes, it’s a canyon reminiscent of the time when the Colts had to go from Peyton Manning to Curtis Painter. Mahomes should win the MVP award for how valuable he is to his team.
The chiefs went 6-8 with Mahomes playing this season. That’s not a mvp anything. If he was so good, they would have gone 10-4. 6-8 is what you’d expect from a mediocre team with a mediocre qb. He even had most of his star players around from previous years.
