And Starfleet is headquartered on earth so clearly more humans would be interested in joining. And are any other cultures in trek as fully post scarcity gay space utopia as humans are? I don’t actually know much of anything about andorians or tellurites though.

You might have 1 main-character Vulcan and a few more recurring per show. Maybe a small handful of recurring andorians, here and there.
