Dude so many of you are just fucking incapable of seeing it as a joke, it’s supposed to make you chuckle, not go “well actshually”. This isn’t a legitimate argument, this isn’t something scientific article, just fucking chuckle or don’t, ffs

      just fucking chuckle or don’t

Then…what would be the point of the comment section? People know it’s a mediocre joke, so there’s really not much else to discuss. Without the discussion, why even visit Lemmy at all? I dont get why you would be sour about people drawing inferences and discussing them. You saw the joke and apparently you don’t think there’s anything else to discuss. Okay. So why are you even here?

You don’t get to point out flaws in human superiority then hide behind “just a joke bro”.

Wait how old before you’re an old fart vs just normal old? I watched this movie when I was a kid. I’m just going into my 30s I need to know…

Better question, what makes someone an old fart vs just a regular fart?

            I suspect it’s about the trust-factor.

You’re definitely an old fart of you can’t trust then to be safe. I don’t know how broad that window is however, and while mine are still very trustworthy I suspect there’s a long ‘sunrise period’ where we lapse into old-fartness.

Nah man, this is fucking gold! It’s novel, very shit-postey, cynical and doesn’t rely on recent it established trends (oil / beans etc).

This is top tier in my book!
