Is tiktok still the goto app for people when they’re bored? Is it just instagram and reddit for memes? Is anything new or rising in the appspace?

Am I just old or does it seem way too soon to use this type of language with TikTok? Seems like it just got big within the past few years.

Crazy. Even still, Twitter and Facebook dominated the 2010s for the entire decade. YT was uncontested for about 15 years. It just seems weird to ask if TikTok is done so soon into what I (regrettably) think will be just as long of a life.
Every time I hear the word “unalived” I despise TikTok a little bit more.
My dad has started talking like this and it’s genuinely disgusting

For me it is Youtube, Lemmy, Verity or Mastodon. Sometimes it is Hacker News or Slashdot.
