Finally, a global warming solution. Then we send these balloons to Mars or something.
It’s even easier than that - burn it for heat. It sounds bad, but it just produces water and a much smaller volume of CO2. Less greenhouse gas already, but then if you really wanted you could capture the water and CO2 and funnel it into a hydroponics greenhouse for food production - but even just burning methane and releasing directly into the atmosphere reduces emissions, and CO2 can be removed naturally much more readily than methane.
Now I’m wondering if there’s enough methane in cow farts to make balloons float…
