They choose to be beetles… we should distinguish generically assigned from chosen traits.
Some are born beetles, some achieve beetleness and some have beetleness thrust upon them.
I don’t think those 4 friends ever worked with Eric Burdon, Hilton Valentine, Chas Chandler, Alan Price, or John Steel actually, so the data probably isn’t being affected.
Isn’t it one in every four different animals that are beetles? I’d imagine if you picked four random animals they’d mainly be nematodes. Or if it’s by mass they’d be humans and cows!
