If I’m the judge of this case, if he assulted that guy, I’m ruling it as justified. I’m also ruling the other guy can’t own guns anymore.

Oh, wait. That would require common sense gun restrictions to be legal. Sorry guys, I can’t take guns away from idiots who just casually point guns at people on the street. Blame the republicans.

Yeah, no. Afaik everything the guy was doing with the gun is illegal in the US and would get your guns confiscated and right to ownership revoked if prosecuted. Waving a gun in someone’s face like that is illegal and I’m pretty sure a felony. You lose your guns if you have a felony on your record.

In Texas, disorderly conduct is a criminal offense that encompasses a variety of behaviors that are considered disruptive, offensive, or potentially harmful to public peace and order. The behaviors classified as disorderly conduct under Texas Penal Code, Section 42.01 include, but are not limited to: … Displaying a firearm: Exhibiting a firearm, e.g., brandishing a weapon in a public place in a manner calculated to cause alarm. …

It’s also classified as ‘deadly conduct’ which can range from misdemeanor to felony charges.

© Recklessness and danger are presumed if the actor knowingly pointed a firearm at or in the direction of another whether or not the actor believed the firearm to be loaded.

do you seriously think it’s legal to go dry fire a gun at random people on the street?

Pointing a firearm at people will absolutely get them taken away from you by the law. Loaded, unloaded, working, non-working, doesn’t matter. In the US, armed robbery gets many more years in prison than unarmed robbery, for example.

That one was absolutely deserved. People who have guns and don’t know the first thing on how to use them safely make my blood boil.

      100% deserved.

I’ve seen someone get their firearm slapped out of their hand, decked, and ejected from a firing range for “accidentally” flashing someone with the barrel and pulling the trigger at the same time. Neither of which should EVER BE FUCKING DONE UNLESS YOU INTEND TO KILL THAT PERSON

My dad used to run a pawn shop and nearly shot someone once. They thought it would be funny to pretend to hold up the place with the gun they were bringing in to sell. Idiots are everywhere
