    NOT ENOUGH LABELS.

There’s things there that I don’t know what they are or what they mean and it makes me feel dumb.

Satire sure, but also an actual political cartoon in its own right.

Top right corner has it labeled from The Onion, actually, though it’s a pretty tiny font.

The people down voting you are so proud of having spotted the satire in the OP, and yet…

On mine it’s actually low res enough that onion isn’t ledgable. I only know its Onion because I’ve seen his work before.

Because it’s separated by a…uhh…what’s it called? Dammit, why didn’t they label it?

That’s a pretty common joke Kelly’s comics include. It’ll be a totally normal part of modern life, like “social media” or “streaming tv” or something, and it’ll be marked with an asterisk labeling it “(latest fad)”

I think the Kelly comics predate Garrison. Either way, most of them dig in hard to Poe’s Law. This is on the more obvious side of most of them.

People aren’t going to like this opinion but I’ll start by saying I think Vance is a crap Senator and a simp for billionaire oligarch Peter Thiel, that being said, this cartoon reminds me of one of Ben Garrison’s crappy cartoons.

These comics are made by the onion. It’s entire point is to make fun of comics like Garrison’s

Yes, that’s the idea. It’s satire of political cartoons.

Probably should mention satire from Onion making fun on Garrison; it says so top right under Kelly but that text is gonna be too low res to make out.

Just saying satire people might think it’s a right wing rag poking fun at the couch accusations. Many political cartoons are satire of politics, this is satire of political cartoons.
