I mean after tucker spent an entire episode selectively editing out Kanye’s antisemitic rants and then trying to portray it as a smear campaign by mainstream media… why does anyone watch this moron still with the complete knowledge his stories are fully fabricated propaganda.

Tucker is a liar and a fraud. Of course he’s also taking Russia money, probably saudi and musk money too.

Yes this, sure, but also he LITERALLY went to Russia, as they were invading Ukraine, and filmed some slop where he went into their supermarkets and walked around and said, “Hey… Now this is pretty fucking nice! They got broccoli and shit!”

      It’s so fucking naked.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is he’s like some university dandy who married into inexaustible wealth who portrays himself as some cross between John Q Everyman, and Joseph Rogan. Impartial Journalist facade while directly taking RT money. Every aspect of this guy is a fraud,

Everything he says and does just screams “I am a fraud”.

Statements like “This isn’t news” are never helpful. Something like that is really just meant for you to performatively proclaim, “I actually knew this already!”

Plenty of people who aren’t as enlightened as you are just now learning or just coming of age to be politically aware. Maybe they were in one of the various operating religious/political cults in the world today sheltering them from objective reality. Leave some room for them to learn something new and feel ownership in that new awareness.

Just literally zero value in “duh! Tell me something I don’t know!”. If anything, it risks derailing the enthusiasm building in someone who wanted to help who now feels “stupid” and “not in the club” so they get quiet. Something useful enough in the second half of your statement though.

He doesn’t need money, he’s a little prep school heir from step mommy with a father that also spent his life grifting for the republicans. What he needs is validation. He needs to feel like people aren’t laughing at him. But they always are, and they always will. Same with trump - That’s why they are now hoping to kill enough of the other side so that the only people left in the room are the ones who are not paying attention except to clap when they hear “freedom” or “woke”.

Seriously though, the truth is that trump is 80 and he will statistically die relatively soon. The same fear applies, “they aren’t going to laugh at me”. Give him a chance and trump will literally throw the match in the gasoline soaked world behind him on the way out, just for the comfort that he won’t be made fun of in death or properly exposed in full context by history.

        He doesn’t need money

No but as I said in another comment he’s a money hungry cunt. We all are to an extent but there comes a point of wealth for a small subset of humans beyond which adding zeros to your bank balance is what’s fuelling you. They can’t stop themselves.

He is one of that small subset IMO.

Seriously though, the truth is that trump is 80 and he will statistically die relatively soon

I can’t recommend Mike Duncan’s “The History of Rome” podcast enough. The cult of personality is what led to the fall of the republic and the similarities to our current predicament are more than a bit disconcerting.

MAGA and the idea of challenging elections by force will never go away.

In what way? I am Canadian, so this question is very odd.

Yes, he’s a nepotism baby, his father was PM in the 70s.

But he’s the leader of a center left party. He has been in power a long time, but in a minority government. He dropped his promise to change election laws and lead the government to legalize weed. He should have been a lot better on the environment but also wasn’t (blatantly) hostile to environmental causes.

He was caught doing black face in the past and his government was too nice in bed with SNC Lavalin and should not have helped them by interfering with the justice system . But again, he didn’t deny it.

Heck, we had truckers convoy across the country with swastikas and occupy our capital to try and oust him. So our version of Jan 6th was anti Trudeau, versus being lead (or spurned on) by Trump.

So its not a 1 to 1 to Trump. He’s closer to Clinton in that he’s a slimy politician who does some good things but clings too hard to the status quo and has some skeletons in the closet.

He was “too nice” to SNC? That… That is not even a remotely accurate euphemism.

Like, Trudeau isn’t Trump. Not even close. Not even directionally similar. But that’s not at all a reasonable way to describe the scandal.

Not at all. The closest thing we have to Trump is Maxime Bernier (the leader of the People’s Party of Canada, a fringe alt-right party that has minimal support), or we have Pierre Polievre who leads the Conservative Party of Canada, but is nowhere near as far right as Trump. Justin Trudeau is the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and tends to take extremely centrist positions on everything. People dislike Trudeau for numerous reasons. He lied about electoral reform which was one of his key promises during his initial campaigning a decade ago, Conservatives hate him because he was young enough when he was first elected to be called “fuckable” by Buzzfeed and he spent time speaking to young people and taking photos with them instead of doing what Conservatives believe to be “respectable behavior”, he’s been implicated directly in some very boring corruption scandals, and his government has openly engaged in an immigration scam to artificially inflate Canadian housing property values because most people in our government have investment properties.

Trudeau legalized weed, medically assisted suicide, and during the pandemic gave people cheques for 2,000 dollars if they needed it, no questions asked.

I have issue with him no not following through on election reform and not giving the first nations the attention they deserve, but he’s done more to personally improve my life than any other prime minister has.
