Honestly though, that guy was the most believable character of the three to me. Just totally unable to understand how the future works at all, expecting it to be no different than his time, and getting angry and frustrated with things not being like that. And to make it worse, he’s on a military ship with extra rules. Everything he had ever worked for and achieved was meaningless and everything he believed in had been rejected.

Yes, he was an asshole, but the other two (and pretty much every other character brought into the future or shown the ship when it’s in a the past) do not react like most people actually would when put in that situation and getting over the initial shock. It doesn’t matter what kind of utopia Star Trek’s future was, the complete culture shock would be enough to give anyone mild PTSD.

Business B. McBusinessman was the one who had something to do. Sad Housewife was there to give Troi a reason to not be on the bridge so she couldn’t say “I’m sensing deception from the Romulans, Captain.” And Guitar Hick Who Was Also There was also there. The whole crux of the episode is the moment when Business B. McBusinessman goes to the bridge and says “The Romulans are bullshitting you. I can tell because I’m a businessman and businessmen bullshit each other all the time.”

This episode pretended it had a lot to say, huh?

I immediately recognized and hate this man.

Truly, he was TNG’s King Joffrey

My box of Pokemon cards will be enough to buy a private class-M resort planet somewhere.

Maybe not Pokemon but if you have a Roger Maris baseball card, you’ll definitely be set for life in the future.

What can my expansive collection of Beanie Babies and 3 still-in-bag Death of Superman comics buy me?
