    When I don’t want an overly strong coffee, I’ll grind less beans or add more water.

    Less jangly, and sameish taste.

    In the uk “bean” is slang for 'head"

    Meaning you are calling me stupid…

    Which i suppose isn’t really an insult, as its true.

      Where I’m from bean can be a euphemism for a certain part of female genitalia, so I am insulted.

      Also UK here. Since it’s mostly used as the verb to mean “hit <someone> in the head”, it didn’t even occur to me to parse the question this way.

      Perhaps that was a symptom of my own weak bean.

    Does lentils count? Their like a weaker version of beans. I made a lentil and ham soup with the leftover Christmas ham I had. Pretty yummy.

    I have baked beans and dried chickpeas in the house at the moment, and the baked beans are probably the weaker of my two beans, so the current status of my weak bean is “canned.”
