People climbed damn walls. Cops were hurt. Government buildings were occupied by forces waving a confederate flag. I literally saw it happen live on TV. They have been pardoned, fine, that’s the law, but don’t lie with a committee about what happened. Spend that money feeding homeless and I’ll move on, or do as they are doing and show everyone they don’t care about the cost of food.
Republicans care more about Trump’s feelings than they do about their constituents, let alone the homeless and unhoused.

The fact any of these vultures still have a job trying to claim otherwise just shows how effective Republican propaganda is.

And so many people that should have solidarity are being turned against each other AND falling into the trap of harboring anger toward other disadvantaged people. IDK if it’s standard practice but every one of these panels should create a majority and minority report. The recent COVID pandemic report from Congress was laughable in its partisanship.
And who was in charge at the time there were “intelligence and security failures?”
They try to lay that blame on Nancy Pelosi, as if she’s in the chain of command.
The ultimate irony being she is documented on that day calling everyone to try to get someone to do something about it.

There’s no such thing as “objective truth” under the violent control of the state.
The only questions I really care about:
- How many people were killed that day?
- How many police officers were injured protecting the capitol and the people inside?
- How many police officers took their own lives in the aftermath?
- How much taxpayer money was spent repairing all the damage caused by these “guests”?
These people will just never get over the fact that: 1) convict lost the 2020 election, and 2) that their coup plotting and their concurrent insurrection failed to keep donvict in office and 3) that normal Americans keep pointing this out.
