Bidet water out of the toilet? I don’t understand… The bidet has its own outflow, or do you have some kind of portable bidet that you have to empty into the toilet?

For bathrooms without a separate bidet (dedicated bidets are very uncommon in North America at least), you can buy an attachment that sits under or replaces the toilet seat that performs the same function, and is referred to as a bidet. They have a separate water source that is split from the toilet’s source.

I highly recommend getting one if you don’t have at least one bidet I your house.

Oh I see, thanks for the clarification. I’m from Switzerland, some households have separate dedicated Bidets.
An addon bidet I have personally never seen here. But there are fancy toilets that already included a water jet function. We usually call those Japanese Toilets though, at least that’s how I learned it. It’s also common to use flushable wet wipes in households that have neither.

I’m about to buy a bidet, and now you have me second-guessing myself. I don’t have balls to protect my bathroom floor.

Oh you should definitely get one, they are fantastic. The only real way it will get the floor wet is if you turn it on when you’re not sitting down. The meme is just a bit of silliness.

is this not what the towel servant is for?

usually my servant will wash and dry my balls before applying a bit of talc to them so they don’t stick to my thighs.

This makes no sense. Bidet water, splashing out the front of the toilet? Bidet ≠ toilet. I really hope these people aren’t going in the bidet.

You can get a bidet that attaches to a toilet. It’s just a spray nozzle that sits under the seat and squirts right up ya

They’re probably shortening “bidet shower” to bidet.

Bidet showers are commonplace in Finland, in bathrooms pretty much for as long as I can remember. Aside from public toilets which nowadays do have them but used to be that like 1/5 stalls had them.

And I definitely don’t get off from the toilet to use my bidet shower. I feel like that would be horrendous for my bathroom floor.

Ohhh! Dude, I would love one of those. It would make wiping/cleaning so much quicker. Bruh, if I build a house, I’m installing one of those.

Strongly recommended, yes. I know of no other way.
