The congresswoman called the indictments against Trump “pure communism” and part of a “giant collaboration basically to affect the 2024 election”

Marjorie Taylor Greene is accusing Fulton County Prosecutor Fani Willis — without evidence — of the very crimes Willis has charged Donald Trump with committing.

Only now do we understand the full gravity of the passing of Paul Reubens. For decades he was the sacred keeper of this powerful spell. With his exit from our plane of existence, the power has falling into the hands of the minions of the dark hesperidium wraith.

I thought Marx’s chapter about charging Donald Trump with his alleged crimes after his presidency was an odd departure from the rest of the book too, glad MTG is shining a light on these issues. Nice to see she’s well-versed in the legal maxim of immo tibi as well.

They’re not really this stupid it’s an act and is similar to what Russia did when Putin tried to fake election fraud BS. That’s where Republicans learned it.

Exactly this. We should be disowning and excluding then entirely. Teach your children why it’s inappropriate to do business or keep relationships with conservatives. Exclude hate by excluding haters.

Conservatives don’t have beliefs - they have slogans.

Rational argument is not what they’re doing.

Trying to “make it make sense” makes no goddamn sense. Please stop. It won’t work.

Don’t they get immunity for things said on the floor? Otherwise I’m not sure but that’s the only restriction I’ve heard on it, and even that may have limits. Couldn’t read the article either so just reverted to reading the headline and commenting, as is tradition.

Only if it’s in pursuit of their duties.

Hard to see how incitement of an insurrection applies

For example, if you were having a discussion about socialism and providing health care and stuff… you’d be immune for saying that the republicans are in the pockets of big corpo, that would be protected.

If boebert walked in and just announced that Greene likes rainbow kitten stuffed animals…. Well first, greene’d have to prove it’s not true, and that it was intentionally a lie
