    Not quite.

Dr Pepper is definitely wrong. Fully independent. Pepsi provides distribution in some markets, but that’s it.

Starbucks is also wrong. Pepsi distributes bottled fraps through a joint venture, but they are separate companies.

Ready to drink Lipton drinks come from Pepsi, but the brand it not owned by Pepsi (teabags and other).

Tazo was sold to Unilever in 2017 but then also sold again in 2022 to the same parent company of Lipton.

Ocean spray is a farmer coop, Pepsi just does distribution.

After high school I got a job as a merchandiser for Pepsi Bottling Group. That’s when I learned that both Pepsi and Coke distrubute Dr. Pepper in different areas.

If the 20 oz bottles in your area look like this you are in a Coke area, and if they look like this you are in a Pepsi area.

that’s also why Dr Pepper can show up on fountains in both Pepsi and Coke aligned fast food places.

Land of Lakes is a farmer-owned co-op…but from 1989 until 2007, Kraft was owned by Phillip Morris (the tobacco company now known as Altria).

Marlboro and EasyMac were corporate cousins.

The tobacco companies saw the decline of tobacco sales and rolled into processed foods with all the addiction research they had already been doing.

Your image works fine for me. Idk what they’re talking about, these companies are making plenty of profit. (Probably not enough if you ask the shareholders tho)

“Always has been”, my ass. These companies were acquired over time, PepsiCo didn’t just own them from the start.

‘Breathtaking’ Is One Word for Purported Arnell Pepsi Doc

“When I did the Pepsi logo, I told Pepsi that I wanted to go to Asia, to China and Japan, for a month and tuck myself away and just design it and study it and create it,” [Arnell Group’s Peter] Arnell said earlier to Ad Age. “There was a lot of research, a lot of consumer data points … and dialogue that I had with the folks at Pepsi, consumers and retailers. We knew what we were doing.”

So what does such a “breathtaking” redesign cost, anyway? Ad Age earlier reported that experts estimate the cost for a top firm to work five months at north of $1 million.

There was one off I-75 in Lexington, KY in the early '00s to the early '10s. I have no idea if it is still there. Actually it may have been a combination Taco Bell, KFC, LJS, but I think it was Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC. I don’t remember if it was off Richmond Rd, or Winchester though. Probably Winchester.
