Maybe they’re signaling that they don’t like you either

Being upset that someone is operating a wildly dangerous machine in an unsafe manner is acceptable.

isn’t it fun how road-rage has been a well known thing basically since cars were invented and yet we just blithely accept it?

imagine using a mode of transport that is actively pleasant and never makes you angry, what a world

Unfortunately to my knowledge no such mode of transport exists.

Closest I have ever gotten is riding the first train at the top of the morning before almost anyone else is out and about.

Walking - fucking stoplights / fucking weather / my fucking legs hurt Biking - fucking weather / my fucking legs hurt / the fucking chain fell off / my fucking tire got punctured Public transport - the fucking app isn’t working / the train is fucking late / my bus got fucking canceled

See? Just gotta try a bit, it’s not that hard to complain and make your life miserable. Doesn’t matter if you’re in a car or on your feet

No amount of “going through” makes no turn signals an okay thing to do

These are not incompatible. If the first is your normal state of mind and the second allows you to process your feelings and forget that moment, then it’s all good.

Or that drive with their fucking full beam lights on. Or new SUVs with their headlights as bright as the sun lasering their way directly into your eyes.

you’re not supposed to be kind to people that risk bestowing on others grave property damage or griveous bodily harm with their lazyness.

I still like the advice I read once: assume the other driver is desperate for a poo.

If they’re driving too fast: they’re so desperate to get to a toilet, that’s why. If too slow: they’re trying ever so hard not to go over a bump too hard and let it out.

Not sure how that applies to turn indicators though…

It’s really better for everyone that I telecommute.

Yesterday, this guy makes his own lane on the right apron and turned left in front of the long line of cars that had been patiently waiting for 10 minutes. Those are the aholes that irritate me. I see it a coupla times on my 30 miles commute in the Pugetopolis.
