AI lords imagine every occupation involves using AI all the time.
There’s literally no AI involved in welding shop, except my bosses Asshole Intelligence
Apparently one of the big places it’s found a home is the business consultancy firms. You know, the ones that get paid millions to produce slide decks that say things about “developing synergistic relationships to increase profitability”. Reason is because it allows “leads” to produce all that crap themselves without a huge team of idiot underlings. No change in quality because it was all bullshit anyway.
So now KPMG or PWC or whoever, is going into boardrooms as waxing lyrical on how AI cuts your wage bill. They can’t imagine going back.
