tech bros are pushing AI because once people’s workflow gets depended on it they can charge it and that’s not the worse part. now when you can just buy a subscription to an AI your company will stop investing in building up your skills. we will have people whose knowledge and expertise has been atrophied. so now you don’t have any choice but to buy their AI since there are no longer competent people in the market.
it feels like a death spiral for software and internet. software will be just reskin of the same thing made decades ago no new innovation. internet will be AI slop garbage ( which it has been even before AI ).

I honestly don’t get the streaming thing. I’m down to just one service and unless I’m doing nothing but streaming constantly, I just don’t run out of stuff to watch.
If you’ve “reached the end” of a streaming service, drop that one and find another at least, but don’t just sub to like 8 services because you “need” to see all the latest stuff. People are convinced they need so much more in their lives than they actually do.
Yeah people have like 3 or 4 on average from what I see, for exclusive shows. Its just shitty cable with ads again.
