    It gets worse! The chariot’s wheels are also made of dragonbone ichor in Vulcan’s forge. Their every turn upon the black stone invokes a different terrible curse that afflicts the King’s subjects and drains their life like a slow poison. So it was said in a distant court, but the speaker was ejected because “the post was too political.”

      This is mostly accurate, and I’m glad there will likely be people here who see this and learn something from it. However, it should also be understood that this isn’t an indictment of the piece, since strict scientific accuracy was likely not one of the author’s goals.

    A sorcerer has claimed to create a chariot that can guide itself through the labyrinth unaided by human hand, but there have been a number of deaths associated with this supposed self-driving chariot, and the common folk are beginning to suspect that this supposed sorcerer is nothing more than a common mountebank.
