TTFA (time to fall asleep) is such a huge efficiency drop in my opinion. Wish i could just have a wile e coyote style cartoonishly giant mallet I could bonk myself in the head with and just pass the fuck out immediately ya know, I got shot to do not lie around

Could always try melatonin tablets. They work pretty well for me and my highly anxious ADHD son.

Not in my experience. It’s an anxiety medicine but it’s great for sleep. Klonopin is habit-forming, but as a once-in-a-while sleep aid, it’s really awesome. I have the ones that dissolve under your tongue for fast action.

Wake up to 5 alarms that got replaced by another alarm.
I’ve started doing a ‘two sleeps’ kinda thing. Sleep four hours at night, and three around midday. Haven’t felt better.
If I can’t get enough at night, I simply sleep some more midday, and vice versa.

Yes, it definitely makes sense in context, especially if I figure the person isn’t a native speaker. If I thought the person was a native speaker, I might double check with them on that one
I do the same! I mainly just rest whenever I feel tired and I settled into this. No forced sleeps, all the energy I want. Perfect

Dooon’t take melatonin if you aren’t about to get a full night’s sleep omg that’s the opposite of helpful
At least it helps me sleep more deeply and fast in those 5 hours
The worst part, is that I know that it’s killing me, and I can’t fucking stop doing it.
For someone that’s partially an introvert, it’s the ONLY “me” time that I get. It’s my daily recharge. The rest of the time is with family or work (or occasionally friends). I’ve learned to survive on around 4 hours of sleep, but it’s so bad for me. Recently, my body has started to tell me to stop, I’m still struggling. I just seen to always reason with myself on why I should stay up, “Oh. I just need to knock this one thing out,” or “My phone needs to charge, or let the dogs out. I’ll stay up just an extra 30-45 to take care of that,”. Cut to 3 hours later…fml
