I had a teacher once who had used the old school non-flexible contacts and said “when the first thing you do in the morning is put a piece of glass in your eye, you’re day just goes uphill from there.”

First contact was the one with Geordi’s first contacts.
Just great … now he’ll be dropping comm badges and contacts all of the place now … the crew just lost hours of time stepping on these things or stopping work to look for them.
I don’t need glasses or anything but I tried a pair of colored contacts and boy oh boy will I never put anything that close to my eye again
