      I know a they who refers to themselves as “a they”. It’s partly for the memes but it does happen. Honestly it gets the point across better because instead of being a generic title it’s a term specifically for non-binary people and that’s nice.

        should note it’s probably going to be “they/them”, not just “they”. Saying “i was talking to they yesterday” will likely cause people to stub their tongue.

        With all due respect, due to fuckery when the discussion about them began, a lot of simply not interested folk are quite dumbfounded. Especially non native english speakers.

          C’mon now, I’m 99% sure that whatever your native language, it has pronouns that follow the same basic rules, ie standing in for a referent

            In my native language they/them would most probably directly translate to “it” and “these”. Also, sandwhich is a lady.
