“Seems those that tried it, loved it!” is a pretty bold claim…

    1. How do you eat this?
    2. Those are not macaroni.
    3. Why is it being photographed at a morgue with the emergency backup lights on?

Nothing wrong with hot dogs and Mac n cheese, but why put the Mac n cheese on a hot dog with a bun and not cut up hot dog into a bowl of Mac? This is exactly what I think of when I think about “stupid food.” The food itself isn’t exactly bad; it’s just done in a stupid way.

Seriously, the point of a hot dog is being a finger food. There’s no good way to do that here. Just cut up the dog and put it in the mac.

Hell yeah, grill that bad boy first, to pair with the smoked mac, then slice it up and top some mac with it. The restaurant could also decrease the food cost this way by decreasing the amount of hot dog and increasing the amount of pasta. The customer will still be happy, and you’re probably saving 15-25% in food cost.

I’d eat it in a heartbeat, I just think they’re doing it a disservice by promoting it with a picture

I have no problem with the concept. I just don’t like the execution. Grill up those weiners and get some color on them. Use a homemade baked mac and cheese or fried mac and cheese balls. Put it on a brioche or potato long roll. Toast the long roll. Add a splash of color with chopped parsley or something.

I’d gladly devour that depending on the price but I wouldn’t pay more than $2.50 for it. I know a Great Value bun when I see it.

What if you spiralized a hot dog, made fried mac and cheese balls and put them on top with some cheese sauce, and then eat it like spaghetti and meatballs?

That’s more of a food crime than shitty food porn.
