Yeah it’s a bit much, but you can’t put limits on art. Not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping someone else would pick up the thread with Bill Montgomery. Something like:

It’s like starting a “grass roots” student group

          When you’re seventy two

I’m so posthumously proud of them. Real men of convictions they are.

Love this so much. They died by what they stood for. Now they are in hell having free heating for eternity. Thoughts and prayers 🙏

When jerks like this die (Limbaugh, Cheney, etc.), I always have a slight regret at being atheist. Upon hearing the news of their deaths, I often take a moment and imagine that if I were a believer, I would be taking pleasure from knowing that the monster is now entering Hell where he is is being sentenced to an eternity of fiery torture.

But, alas, no. They’re just dead. Not nearly as satisfyingly dramatic, but good enough.

    It was deliciously ironic.

Unfortunately the mania they kicked up for cash lives on.

thats a good thing, it tarnishes they’re reputation and goals. the Charly Kerk song is a good indication of that.

This could be a Magic card.

But it shouldn’t. We should see less of these dead fascists, not more. Ignore their existences. Let them fade into obscurity.

As long as fascists exist, I prefer seeing dead ones over live ones.

For letting them fade into obscurity, I agree to a degree. But it is a two edged sword. Because the only thing that enables those vile individuals to take power in all sorts of places over and over again is because people forget about fascism and how it works.

Remember how one of the most prolific examples of fascist rulers came to power. Hitler himself didn’t just grab power. He tried to do so, was convicted and jailed for his attempted coup, wrote a book detailing all of his plans and insane ideology while in jail, was released early, and was subsequently allowed to run for office again. Once his party gained an alarming number of votes, conservatives collaborated with him, thinking they could control him, and made him Chancellor. The rest is history. See any parallels between how the Weimar Republic turned into Nazi Germany and some other country acquiring a fascist ruler in this recent time?

I’d prefer to see zero fascists. Ideally because they died. Once dead, forget them.
