DNS adblocking is awesome! The other day I found it blocks ads in some OTT apps too lol. I use Mullvad DNS btw. Only problem is the server goes down now and then. I keep switching between Mullvad and Adguard.

How do I use NextDNS? I use DNS over TLS since it doesn’t require an app and can’t find the addresses for NextDNS when I searched.

I don’t usually write stuff on paper and feel I might never remember that I’ve wrote my password somewhere on a paper. But yeah ig it’s better to write it down and have it somewhere than not write it at all.

It’s kinda only source to my MP and not making it kinda obvious might lock me out is my thinking.

One follow up question, can the Master Password hint be extremely obvious or should I make it bit trickier to enchance the security?

We still can sideload even after the side loading changes, although in quite annoying fashion, but will still be possible.

Revanced is not dead. Revanced Extended(RvX) was discontinued and rebooted with the new name Morphe. Both are two different projects and both are alive.

I almost given up the habit of bookmarking. I just remember some parts of the URL or the tab name and my history pulls it up for me.

RCS is pretty much useless for my country which relies heavily on other messaging apps like WhatsApp/Telegram. I use SMS only for OTPs and stuff so I’m happy without any RCS in my life.

For a layman this sounds counterintuitive. Get non personalised ads sounds like you are going to be bombarded with obscene ads which you don’t want. But in reality it’s way worse turning it on. I was suprised I had it turned on for a very long time because when I made my account it sounded like that.

Honestly my mind has been tweaking lately ever since I started working. I’m under artificial lights all day long and sometimes I have no clue when I see “9:00” if it’s night or morning for at least 5secs. I really hate how my phone doesn’t show AM PM either.

Also using 24hrs clock really puts the time spent in the day into perspective. 9pm doesn’t look as daunting as “you’re 21hrs” into the day.

The post the other day about lemmy needing more users and engagement gave a little nudge to me commenting more. I guess same thing happened with many users and you can see the spike in the graph.

This. We are in huge lack of sports discussion here on lemmy. I’m looking at other places for sports content because it’s just not here. I miss live threads.

Yeah we are not using slurs enough. Other platforms are openly racist and therefore have better user engagement coz it’s “funny” being openly racist.
