    Google is completely unusable

    Absolutely false and obviously so. If it was completely unusable no one would still use or talk about it. Why lie to make your point?

    Edit: really struck a nerve with this one…how dare I suggest Google, a thing I successfully use every day, still resembles some level of utility.

      Hyperbole is a literary device used to draw emphasis through extreme exaggeration. Hyperbole is not meant to be taken literally, but rather understood as a means of communicating something specific. Those who hear or read the hyperbole should understand that it is an exaggeration.

        not meant to be taken literally

        But the kid said ‘literally’, so there’s that. And a lot of spelling errors, so charity was forfeit.

          Hyperbole =/= lying. Re-read what I wrote.

        Well this isn’t literature. I read every day that people take for granted that Google is now “unusable”. It isn’t. It’s a free service that’s gotten a little worse. End of story.

      Yeah it is exaggeration for most. However for someone who relied on accuracy of searches for work or whatever it may be as well as unusable

        I’ve yet to hear anything specific like that. Just that it’s “unusable” constantly. Despite the fact that, because Google is evil, I constantly try to use other search engines but literally none are ever as good as Google so I have to crawl back to the evil fuckers against my will. meanwhile, here in la-la land, everyone tells me that Google is utter trash which cannot possibly be used because it’s just immeasurable dogshit.
