As CMS Administrator, Oz would oversee a broad agency that provides coverage through Medicare, Medicaid and other programs to more than 160 million people.

I get he’s going to push crazy tabloid products on seniors, but… the actual, coverage part. Got a mom.
He’s promoted unproven medical treatments for personal gain, opposed the Affordable Care Act, and supports the expansion of advantage plans aka privatized/subsidized medicare. Pretty mainline republican, but all this likely means more money out of your mom’s pocket for care.
Oh, I don’t doubt that. We’ve been lucky enough that most of her issues are pretty mainline common stuff and she has nothing exotic going on. Just diabetic and old. No miracles cures there.
I feel for people with more complicated healthcare needs, who are in a position where one little law change could wreck their entire insurance plan, like people with home health needs or dialysis, or cancer treatment.
