Thats why he’s doing it. If I understand correctly we are getting charged for each time he stays at his properties because the “businesses” charge the government for whatever security/personnel that have to stay there, among other things.
That was the grift first time round. At this point, I doubt he bothers with the pretense and just steals what he wants. Nobody holds him to account and it’s sad.
I’d imagine he now goes there as he like golf. I’d prefer him golfing than messing up the world. However, with his sycophants he can do both unfortunately.
I don’t know if he’s doing it this time as well - I’d be surprised if he’s not - but last term he kept putting the presidential guests up to stay at his properties at a marked up room cost too
