This is making me realize how much of real life operates with what people would consider troll physics were it not observably true. Black holes come to mind. Also shooting bullets underwater.

Einstein: My theory predicts that there could be a hole in reality that we could never observe from the outside, but that’s ridiculous. It can’t exist.

Oppenheimer: I guess these holes could form in our universe when a heavy star runs out of fuel, but I doubt this means anything real.

      Wheeler: Wait a sec…

What happens when you shoot a bullet under water?

For most weapons they shoot at a normal speed then stop after like 3 feet

It doesn’t travel nearly as far as you would normally expect. Some guns are useless to hit underwater targets.

This is a stupid idea and it will never work.

Yeah, what would you even call such an invention? Ballon Aircraft? Hot Aircraft? Air Hot Ballon? It just doesn’t make any sense.

I’m wondering how hot air balloons were invented. Did someone in the past started a fire in their tent, and the tent flew away?

The first hot air balloons were those sky lanterns which were used in China as military signals. It took 1500 years for some bored French guys to say “yeah, let’s make that but big enough to carry us”.

Probably smaller. China has very early history of using small hot air balloons for signalling or celebrations. It may have taken the invention of thin paper for something light enough for buoyancy.

    I

That is literally how hot air balloons work

So yes, that actually works, you just need a REALLY big sack

So I just need to become the town gossip to harness this power? Sorcerers having charisma as the primary stat is starting to make sense
